Whittingham Hospital

Whittingham hospital has been popular with urban explorers for ages. Many floors are rotten through and ceilings have collapsed. Nature is clearly taking over these once majestic buildings. It’s entreating to see that nature clearly is peeling back the layers of time and it reveals the past underneath many layers of paint. My photos don’t [...]

Update Tenerife

As always I’m behind with my processing. So here is the rest of the photos I took during my holiday on Tenerife.

Scrappers

There aren’t a lot of these scrappers left any more, nice and old fashioned, quite messy but somehow very organised, the gentlemen who work there always friendly and in for a chat. It would be great to capture this in a documentary before it will be lost in the endless modernization rage. For now you’ll [...]

New lens

I just bought a Rokkor Minolta 50mm f1.7 after a lot of research I’m going to give this a try on my E-PL5 with an adapter. Apparently this is quite a good lens. It’s obviously all manual, but I think this will add to the fun factor and take me back to the days that I used [...]

The island of the eternal spring. (And a new camera)

I’ve just  been to Tenerife. What a brilliant island and gorgeous weather! I really can recommend this to everybody! Fed up with lugging around my trusty Canon 40D I bought an Olympus E-PL5. What a brilliant choice! I can now pack everything in a small bag and as a bonus the image quality is better [...]

New camera and a new photo.

Haven’t been doing a lot lately in terms of photography. I was quite fed up with dragging a heavy DSLR with me. It was always a task rather than just enjoying taking photo’s, so I got rid of my trusty 40D and bought an Olympus E-PL5. (More info) Boy is that a nice camera! All the [...]

I’m on a roll!

As the title already says; I’m on a roll! I’ve got all these photo’s on my computer that are not on here so I’ve decided to post more photo’s that I’ve taken in the past. This photo has been taken at Morecambe Bay and almost cost me a welly. I checker the tide before I [...]

A blast from the past

I was going through some photo’s that I took years and years ago.  It is a photo of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. The lines in the picture makes it so nice and abstract! It’s also shot on film. I thought it would be nice to share it! (click on the photo for full size)

Dramatic sunset

I just took this amazing picture of an incredible sunset at our house. The colors are just so intense! (I didn’t adjust anything in Photoshop, this is the way it was) (Click on photo for full size)
