Last night I went to Starsailor @ de Melkweg (Amsterdam) for Muziekpodia.nl.
The atmosphere and the whole performance was just great!
The gig was sold out and that was for a reason! Starsailor really knows how to entertain people and make brilliant music!
James Walsh had so much contact with the audience, and was clearly enjoying himself!

It really was one of my favourite concerts!

For the ones who don’t know it yet; My wife and I are (finally) moving to Kendal (UK).
We even set a date! It’s going to be on the 16th of February 2010. This doesn’t mean that Urbanex.nl will be offline, the only thing that might change is that there will be less urbanex exploration shoots but more nature related photo’s instead.

Last weekend I went to the best, most relaxt music-festival in the world!
And thanks to my friends from muziekpodia.nl I got a press-card so I was able to take photos for them!
I took quiet some photos so it’ll take me a while to sort them al out, but as soon as some pics are ready I’ll let you guys know.

A month ago I went to the UK (yes I know, again!), where I took a very nice panoramic picture at Morecambe beach. (Very nice sunsets there!)

Yesterday I went to “the Alexandria Quartet”. I’ve read good things about these guys and their (first) cd is actually very good! The more I listen to it the more I like it.

Unfortunately there were only a few people at the concert. I’d be kinda upset if I had to perform for only 15-20 people, but the guys from the Alexandria Quartet didn’t!!!
The concert blew me away! There was some much energy and it sounded absolutely perfect! These guys are amazing performers!

There wasn’t a single note that the lead singer didn’t hit right, his voice blew everybody away.

It’s really nice to see that the are new band like the Alexandria Quartet, and I’m really looking forward to the second (and third and fourth…..) album.
Keep up the good work guys!
